Author description

A Sydney based florist for the past 18 years, Vicki Kerr has realised a long term dream of publishing a sublime floral book. Inspired by a Japanese book she came across years ago, European interior magazine Cabana, and her love of simple blooms, standing on their own, she has combined flowers with other luxurious elements  such as fabrics, wallpapers, beautiful vases, surrealist images, botanical illustrations and textured paper stocks.

Beginning her floristry career in Sydney, she has worked with some well known  florists from  Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, having also owned her florist, she also spent several years as the in house florist for a large private club in Sydney's East. She currently works from a studio in Darlinghurst
