Sally Rippin was born in Darwin and grew up in South-East Asia. Sally is the author of many books for children, including the best-selling and beloved Billie's Super Dooper Adventures, Billie B Brown and Hey Jack! series. She currently lives in Melbourne with her partner and a house full of children, and writes and illustrates full-time.
